That’s exactly why our Saucy chefs have created a superb parchment bag, to cook the fillets from our brand new frozen range inside (uh huh, we have a new frozen range if you haven’t heard).
So why is this cooking method so nutritious and efficient? Well, the parchment bag replicates the classic cooking method of En paillote, or ‘in parchment’ – yes, we’ve been brushing up on our French for this one. This age old method allows the natural moisture of the fish to steam inside the bag, giving your fillet a perfectly moist, soft and delicious result. A wonderful outcome, with minimal effort.
Saucy Top Tip: Originally, a papillote was opened at the dinner table to allow guests to smell the aroma as the bag was unsealed… a possibility for the next dinner party?
