Cooking salmon on the BBQ sounds simple but how many times have you tried it and ended up with bits of fish stuck to your grill, a plate full of charcoal and an emergency call to the local takeaway?
Here’s the big secret. Put your salmon on the grill, skin side down. It’s that simple to stop your salmon turning into a charred, sticky, crumbly mess. Make sure your grill is well oiled beforehand to double your chances of success. It should take between 10 and 20 minutes to cook through.
Now for a marinade. And this one’s dead simple: Mix honey, balsamic vinegar and minced garlic cloves together. Put your salmon in there for a few hours before grilling and get ready for a taste sensation.
