Looking for a new seasonal recipe? We’ve got one for sorrel – currently in season and perfect when paired with fish; try our simple sorrel sauce.
What you need:
○ 1 generous handful of sorrel leaves
○ ½ cup of double cream
○ 100g butter
○ 3 tablespoons of vegetable stock
○ Sprinkle of sea salt and cracked black pepper
What you need to do:
This recipe is super simple, all you need to do is dice your sorrel and mix into melted butter over a medium heat. Next, slowly pour in your cream followed by vegetable stock, stirring frequently. Season with sea salt and cracked black pepper then pour generously over your favourite fish fillet.
