SAUCY TOP TIP OF THE MONTH: BROCOLLI

Considering this month is all about being good to YOU, broccoli is the perfect choice for our seasonal veggie. Why? Because it’s just so jam-packed with goodness. Oh, and it’s at its best this time of year.

So why is this vegetable such a nutrient powerhouse? Well, it is a great source of vitamins K (great for the bones), Vitamin C, potassium and fibre. Intestinally, broccoli can also help to protect our DNA against unwanted mutations or damage – now that is something to brag about.

So... roast it with olive oil and salt, fry it with garlic, ginger and chilli flakes or simply steam it for ULTIMATE goodness. Whatever you choose to do with this seasonal veggie, you can be sure it will leave you feeling super afterwards. 2018, we are ready for you.

FUN FACT: Broccoli comes in all kinds of colours, from deep sage, to dark green and purple, to help you brighten up your dinner plate.
