SAUCY CHEF TIP OF THE MONTH... ASPARAGUS!

Not only is this springtime green full of nutrients and virtually fat free, the asparagus is also hugely versatile; grilled, boiled or roasted, get experimental this May with a firm favourite from the Saucy Chef.

We recommend starting with this very simple grilled asparagus recipe. You’ll need 200g of asparagus (one small handful) per serving – for optimum taste, look for shoots with firm green spears and tight, crisp tips. Heat the asparagus in a griddle pan for a few minutes, turning occasionally. Once plated, simply squeeze a little lemon, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and finish off with Parmesan shavings.
