Tis the season to be saucy! This deserves a toast with the most; something hot and spiced that will warm the cockles – and the mussels.
Mulled wine is the go-to festive fuel but for something a little bit different, whip up a batch of mulled cider for an easy-peasy perk-up. Once your saucy pals get sipping those sweet spices, you’ll be right on track for your best Christmas yet.
○ 2 litres traditional, full-flavoured cider
○ 6 cloves
○ 1 teaspoon nutmeg
○ 2 cinammon sticks
○ 1 vanilla pod, chopped
○ 1 orange, juiced
○ 2 clementines, juiced
○ 5 tablespons of caster sugar
