An old culinary pastime is predicted to set the world of food lovers alight. It seems we're all about to take up smoking... our food that is! According to Stylist magazine, smoking our food is set to be one of the hot culinary trends.
Traditionally a way to preserve food, smoking is also a fantastic way of adding lots of extra flavour to a whole range of food including bacon, cheese, ham and a personal favourite of ours, fish.
Smoked fish crops up in cuisines all over the world - Americans enjoy smoked salmon in thin slices, on fresh bread with red onion, lashings of cream cheese, lemon and capers, while us Brits are partial to 'Smokies' or Smoked Haddock and in Asia, smoked Snapper is a delicacy.
So, why not get in on the act and give your teatime a makeover?
