HOOKED ON... TILAPIA SOY GINGER RECIPE

Tilapia. A sustainable choice for the conscious chef. Let the below 'how-to' video inspire your shopping list. The classic Asian combination of soy and ginger direct taste buds to the orient. Break up hearty tilapia fish pieces, toss with oodles of noodles, add crunchy stir-fried veggies to make this dish go further with friends. We give you the orient, in an express!

WHAT YOU NEED: Serves 2.

2 fillets of Tilapia

3 tbspn of dark soy sauce

1 tbspn soft brown sugar

½ red chilli, sliced diagonally

A sprinkling of coriander, for garnish

How You Make It.

STEP 1:Bring a non-stick pan to a medium-high heat, massage oil into tilapia fillets.

STEP 2:Place fillets in pan, cooking for 4 minutes each side.

STEP 3:Mix soy sauce and sugar together in a bowl.

STEP 4:Turn tilapia fillets and cook for 2 minutes, then add ginger.

STEP 5:Add soy mix and chilli 30 seconds before the end.

STEP 6:Serve and garnish with coriander.

Saucy Chef's Tasty Tip: Serve with oriental wok-fried vegetables such as pak choi to enhance this oriental inspired dish.
