If you have one resolution this year, make it to give yourself a boost with scrumptious superfoods. But what are superfoods? Well, there are no magic ingredients that will turn you into a wonderwoman or superman. And anyway – we think spandex is sooo 2017.
It’s simple. Superfoods are just nutritious foods, mostly fruits and veggies, eaten in moderation while listening to your body. Feeling tired? Try some green tea! Struggling to concentrate! Blueberries are your friend! Those post-Fishmas blues won’t stand a chance with all that healthy energy flying round your system.
But when you’ve packed your diet full of kale, winter squash and avocado – why stop there? These little babies can transform your skin too! So sit back, relax and enjoy some much needed R&R. With this face mask soothing your wintry skin, any worries will be just a drop in the ocean. Aahhhh...
The Green Goddess:
This is easy as pie, but so effective. Tea acts as a gentle exfoliator and is packed full of antioxidants to help you age gracefully.
○ 1 tablespoon coconut oil
○ 1 green teabag
1. Tear open the tea bag and combine with coconut oil.
2. Apply to face in gentle circular motions to exfoliate.
3. Leave for 10-15 minutes.
4. Remove with a warm damp cloth. Bliss!
